Important things to note before applying to Wild Waterworks:

  • All new and returning staff are required to attend mandatory training sessions throughout May and June, as well asbi-weekly in-season training
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positions require outdoor work for extended periods of time through various weather conditions including heat and humidity
  • Criminal Records and Judicial Matters check is required for all positions and must be submitted prior to commencing work
  • Candidates should have attention to detail, confidence, and a passion for customer service!

Lifeguard Starting Wage: $19.05

Up to 60 Lifeguards are required to perform various lifeguarding duties at Wild Waterworks

  • 15 years of age or older
  • Current National Lifeguard certificate
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificate
  • Lifesaving Society or Red Cross Instructor certificate (any option) considered an asset

Water Park Attendant Starting Wage: $15.85 – $16.80 (over 18)

Up to 25 Water Park Attendants are required to operate and dispatch riders in a safe manner, following all safety regulations provided

  • 14 years of age or older
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificate
  • Current Bronze Medallion or Bronze Cross certificate considered an asset

Assistant Pool Operator Starting Wage: $18.30

Up to 3 Assistant Pool Operators are required to assist with the successful operation of mechanical systems and water attractions at Wild Waterworks

  • Pool Operators certificate is required or willing to obtain
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificate

Guest Services Representative Starting Wage: $17.80

Up to 7 Guest Services Representatives are required for ensuring the satisfaction and enjoyment of visitors at Wild Waterworks

  • Experience with cash handling, POS system, food service, and public relations
  • Standard First Aid and CPR considered an asset

 Maintenance Starting Wage: $15.85 (under 18) – $16.80 (over 18)

Up to 12 Maintenance Staff are required to perform cleaning and disinfection of all areas, park maintenance, grounds keeping and janitorial duties throughout Wild Waterworks.

1 Lawn Care Staff is required to ensure all areas of the park and grounds are cut and trimmed. Use of a riding mower, weed whacker, and push mower are required throughout the 6 Hectare Property.

  • Assist with pre-season preparation of Wild Waterworks (end of April start)
  • Standard First Aid and CPR considered an asset
  • Previous maintenance and cleaning duties considered an asset

Cashier & Servers Starting Wage: $15.85 (under 18) – $16.80 (over 18)

Up to 29 Cashiers and Servers are required to sell/redeem admission tickets, rent tubes, collect fees, control turnstile, serve food and beverage items, and attend to cabanas

  • Experience with cash handling, POS system and public relations is preferred
  • Standard First Aid and CPR considered an asset
  • Food Handler’s certification considered an asset

Security Officer Starting Wage: $19.55

Up to 5 Security Officers are required for the safety and well-being of all guests, staff and other visitors at Wild Waterworks

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence as mandated by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services

Up to 3 Team Leaders are required for the Cash/Food Department
Up to 6 Team Leaders are required for the Aquatic Department

  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificate
  • Current Food Handler’s certification or willing to obtain
  • Current National Lifeguard certification
  • Lifesaving Society or Red Cross Instructor Certificate (any option) considered an asset
  • Previous experience in the areas of cash handling, inventory control, POS system and aquatics is considered an asset.
