2018 Wild Waterworks Facility Rules


Turf and Complex Rules

  1. Rules are posted at each attraction entrance and are to be acknowledged and followed while using that attraction.
  2. Radios or audio devices are not permitted.
  3. Proper Bathing attire is required in all water attractions. No street clothes.
    • All Males (regardless of age) must wear Bathing suit shorts. All Females (regardless of age) must wear a one or two-piece swimming suit. Undergarments/Boxer shorts are not allowed for health & sanitation reasons.
    • THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF SHORTS ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE BATHING SUITS:
      • Unlined gym shorts (basketball type shorts), cargo shorts, pants of any kind, jean shorts, cut- off shorts, swimwear with metal rivets, buttons, buckles, snaps, zippers or sharp objects will not be permitted on the slides as it damages the rides and could potentially injure riders.
  4. Persons that are not toilet-trained, or those who are incontinent, are required to wear swim rated diapers.
  5. Balls, frisbee's, etc. are not permitted in the facility.
  6. Barbecues are not permitted in the facility.
  7. Glass is not permitted anywhere in the facility.
  8. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the facility.
  9. Wild Waterworks is a SMOKE FREE FACILITY *including e-cigarettes
  10. Wild Waterworks reserves the right to inspect bags & coolers before entering the facility.
  11. No Animals of any kind are not allowed in the park, except for legally-defined service animals or as may otherwise be required by law to assist those with disabilities (as defined by the Access for Ontarians with Disabilities Act or other applicable laws). If you claim to have a legally-qualifying “service animal” you will be required to verify its legitimacy.
  12. Latex balloons not permitted in the facility.
  13. Drones are not permitted please refer to the Hamilton Conservation Authority website link.
  14. Go Pro cameras are not permitted in the Wave pool or Eazy River. They may be worn on water slides as long as they are securely fastened to the rider i.e. head/chest strap

Wave Pool

  1. NO DIVING- Diving is not permitted anywhere in the facility.
  2. Ladders located in the deep end of the pool are to be used only to exit the pool.
  3. Do not enter or exit the pool via the roped-off areas.
  4. Walking on the lifeguard bulkhead or sitting under the ropes is not permitted.
  5. Eating, drinking or smoking on the pool deck area not permitted
  6. Only government-approved life jackets or P.F.D.'s may be worn for personal floatation. Water wings & other non-approved items are permitted in Little Squirt Works ONLY.
  7. Only clear tubes are permitted in the wave pool.
  8. Masks, fins, snorkels or other water toys are not permitted in the pool.
  9. Persons that are not toilet-trained, or are incontinent, are required to wear swim rated diapers.

Little Squirt Works

  1. The wading pool is intended for children 10 and under with adult supervision.
  2. Pool tubes are not permitted in the wading pool.
  3. Persons that are not toilet-trained, or are incontinent, are required to wear swim rated diapers.

Eazy River

  1. Users must remain in or on their tubes at all times while in the river.
  2. Only one lap permitted during busy periods.
  3. Persons that are not toilet-trained, or who are incontinent, are required to wear swim rated diapers.

Tube & Body Slides Height/Weight Restrictions
Night Ride and Blue Demon: Guests must be taller than:47 inches (119 centimeters); Weight Restriction: Combined weight of less than 400lbs (181kg) as per manufacturer safety regulations
Sidewinder and Vertigo: Guests must be taller than: 42 inches (107 centimetres); Weight Restriction: Combined weight of less than 400lbs (181kg) as per manufacturer safety regulations
Corkscrew and Kamikaze: Guest must be taller than: 42 inches (107 centimetres); Weight Restriction: under 300lbs (136kg) as per manufacturer safety regulations

  • When riding, sit up or lay on back; feet first only.
  • No doubles or trains on slides.
  • No stopping on slides.
  • No goggles, sunglasses, eyeglasses, t-shirts or life jackets allowed on slides.
  • Exit splash pool immediately after ride. No sitting on steps.

Guide to Healthy Swimming to Prevent Pool Fouling’s it is recommended:

  • PLEASE do not swim when you have diarrhea. You can spread germs in the water and make other people sick.
  • PLEASE do not swallow pool water. Avoid getting water in your mouth.
  • PLEASE practice good hygiene. Take a shower before swimming and wash your hands after using the toilet or changing diapers.
  • PLEASE take your kids on bathroom breaks or check diapers often. Waiting to hear “I have to go” may mean that it’s too late.
  • PLEASE change diapers in a bathroom or diaper changing area & not
  • PLEASE wash your child thoroughly (especially their rear end) with soap and water before swimming.
