Planning your group event doesn’t have to be stressful! Book your next event at Wild Waterworks, and we can supply you with our event planning tools to make the process easy!

2024 Group Picnic Admission

Minimum of 25 paying guests to receive the discount.  Must be pre-booked within 24 hours with a $500 deposit prior to arrival. Renting a Pavilion and BBQ required. Children 2 and under free.

Pavilion and BBQ Rentals

Wild Waterworks has 3 pavilions located inside the park. To access to the pavilion areas, all patrons must pay the admission fee.

  • Shelter Size: 60’X20’
  • Shelter Seating: 180 – 200 people plus another 60 at tables around the pavilion
  • Shared usage of a sand volleyball court
  • Shared usage of a serving pavilion. The serving pavilion has running water, electricity, refrigerator, freezer, and counter space.
  • Shelter Size: 40’X20’
  • Shelter Seating: 120 – 140 people plus another 60 at tables around the pavilion
  • Shared usage of a sand volleyball court
  • Shared usage of a serving pavilion. The serving pavilion has running water, electricity, refrigerator, freezer, and counter space.
  • Shelter Size: 40’X20’
  • Shelter Seating: 100 – 120 people plus another 25 at tables around the pavilion
  • Shared usage of a sand volleyball court
  • Outdoor counter space and running water

*BBQ’s can only be rented with the rental of a pavilion

Medium BBQ industrial 4 foot grill (propane included): $175.00 + HST
Large BBQ industrial 6 foot grill (propane included): $260.00 + HST

*Outside BBQ’s, glass, alcohol and smoking are NOT permitted inside the facility.

Food Service & Catering

Flexibility is the key for groups coming to Wild Waterworks. Let our experienced staff turn your company picnic into a tailor-made event with amusements, catering and entertainment. We can design to suit your budget and have accommodated groups from 25 to 5,000 people.

Choose from a variety of Food and Beverage options including:

  • Full Service Catering: 
    • Let our preferred caterers customize menus based on your Group’s budget and taste, or choose from one of their delicious pre-set menus.
  • BBQ Rental: 
    • Get your apron ready! Become Wild Waterworks’ next grill master and grill what you want, when you want.
    • *Please Note: BBQ’s can only be rented with a rental of a pavilion. Propane is included with BBQ rentals.
  • Bring Your Own Caterer:
    • Please Note: If a third-party caterer is chosen by the Client, the Hamilton Conservation Authority shall charge an administration and access fee to the Client of one dollar ($1.00) plus applicable taxes per event participant.

 

Please note smoking, alcohol, glass or outside barbecues are not permitted inside the facility. Wild Waterworks Facility Rules in effect.

Important Group Booking Information

Booking an event at Wild Waterworks is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Contact Wild Waterworks with your Deposit

  • Contact the Groups Department to check availability of the date(s) you wish to visit Wild Waterworks.
  • To secure your booking, a $500 deposit is required (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Cheques are accepted).
  • An additional $250 deposit ($750 total) is required if booking a caterer.
  • Please Note: Some groups will be required to pay a higher deposit than $500 based on planned events and group size.

 

2. Signed, Sealed…

  • Group Picnic Agreement is signed and sent to Wild Waterworks.
  • Product Service Order Form is completed and sent to Wild Waterworks.
  • Estimated invoice is prepared from Product Service Order Form.
  • Second installment representing 100% of estimated booking costs is due 4-6 weeks prior to event date.

 

3. Delivered!

  • Products ordered (wristbands, promotional materials, etc.) are shipped once second installment is received.

Your organization and any third party providers are required to provide Wild Waterworks a certificate of Commercial General Liability* for all events that include any of the following:

  1. Food being Catered, or given to the public (not a private picnic, BBQ or family reunion where food is being given to invited guests)
  2. Electrical requirements (you need to plug into an outlet for power)
  3. Tents larger than 10 feet x 10 feet
  4. Amusement Rides and / or inflatables (i.e. bouncers / bouncy castles / jumping gyms). *No stakes, pegs or anchors may be driven into the ground without HCA approval.
  5. Projected attendance of over 1,000 people


*A minimum of $2 Million of Commercial General Liability endorsed to include both of the following as additional insured:

  1. City of Hamilton (71 Main Street West, Hamilton L8P 1H1)
  2. The Hamilton Region Conservation Authority (838 Mineral Springs Road, Ancaster L9G 4X1)
  3. Please note $5MM for events that include Amusement Rides/Inflatables
  4. Wild Waterworks municipal liability insurance coverage does not extend to cover liability arising from the actions of the party holding the event or other parties participating in the event.
  5. Even if your event does not meet any of the conditions above, it is strongly recommended that you carry your own liability insurance (Commercial General Liability insurance policy with a minimum limit of $2MM).
